      The goal The objective of the course is to introduce students to the problems related with power system stability and present the modern methods suitable for the analysis of complex power system.
      The outcome Students will be trained to perform detailed analysis of complex power systems with emphasis on computer applications.

      Contents of lectures General considerations. Load characteristics. A household as an element of the system. Industrial consumers. Principle network solutions. Load forecasting. Load flow. Reliability and security. Reconfiguration and losses. Technical and economic aspects. The economic load. Optimal parameters of the network. Thermal aspects of the network elements loading. Electric power quality. Voltage regulation.
