Dear Sir/Madame,
The fund information company Morningstar Sweden is interested in finding
software developers for new client projects and also second line support
personnel for existing software solutions. We will explore the
opportunities in finding this competence in Belgrade, Serbia.
Our whish is to meet with people, preferably from the academic world,
and have an open discussion about how a possible venture/partnership could be set up.
We will be in Belgrade from the 21st until the 30th of September. We
would prefer to have meetings on the 24th or 25th.
Here is a brief description of what we are looking for in terms of competence:
Programming skills
- In-depth development experience of Microsoft VB/C# .Net using Visual Studio.
- Sound understanding of structured programming (commenting, name standards, component based modeling).
- XML/Ajax, DHTML, CSS, Perl, JavaScript, Illustrator, Version Control Systems like Subversion and MS SourceSafe.
- At least two developers with 3+ years experience of extensive MS SQL programming using stored procedures for calculating, import and export.
- In-depth knowledge of administration and database design skills.
- Mathematical skills - Standard deviation based on raw data series, risk values like Alpha, Beta etc.
- Experience of ftp and sftp.
Communication
- Fluent English, both oral and in writing.
- Qualifying skills: Swedish, Polish, Russian, German and Estonian.
Misc.
- Daily status reports using a time report and project manager tool.
- Experience working with solutions for the Finance sector.
- Extra qualifying: Documented experience working in projects including partners/clients from other countries.
