About the role
As a Junior Data Scientist, you will support the development and validation of data-driven models, working closely with senior data scientists, data engineers, business, and IT teams.
What you will be doing
- Perform data analysis to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities
- Assist with feature engineering and model experimentation
- Help validate models and monitor their performance
- Participate in A/B tests and basic model impact analysis
- Work with structured data using SQL and Python
What will make you successful
- 0-2 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related role
- Strong foundation in statistics and probability
- Good knowledge of Python and basic data science libraries
- Solid SQL skills for data exploration and analysis
- Analytical mindset and curiosity about how models affect business outcomes
Nice to have
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms (e.g. linear models, tree-based models)
- Basic experience with XGBoost / LightGBM or similar libraries
- Experience working with large datasets or cloud data platforms

About the role
As a Junior Data Engineer, you will help build and maintain our data warehouse and data pipelines. You will work in a cloud-based environment using dbt and SQL-based warehouses, learning how business logic is translated into production-grade data models.
What you will be doing
- Support the development of data models in BigQuery / Trino / Databricks
- Build and maintain dbt models under guidance from senior engineers
- Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and analytics use cases
- Assist with data quality checks, testing, and documentation
- Work closely with business, pricing, and IT teams to understand data requirements
What will make you successful
- 0-2 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a similar role
- Strong SQL fundamentals
- Basic experience with dbt or willingness to learn it quickly
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts (tables, views, transformations)
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks)
- Prior experience working with real production data (even via internships or projects)
